Had a couple people adamantly tell me no deal was close for Reid in the afternoon. Lot of smoke out there. But looks like they were right.

fwiw, petro was adamant this morning on his show that he has 'sources' saying Cowher is not going to coach this year...
I would be surprised if Cowher ever coached again. Why do that instead of working 1 day a week during the NFL season and make a couple million.
