Me either. This guy hustled his butt off.

I hope Dorsey's better at trading away players than he is at trading for players.

Dude has gotten ****ing WORKED by other teams in these type of negotiations.

Hope we got something good for Jones. He's actually a pretty damn good backup at OLB. We're giving up a quality guy, and it better be for something more than a piece of shit 7th rounder

DTLB58 08-31-2013 07:26 PM

Well call back a WR in my opinion. Maybe OL.

Guys like that are valuable.
Earlier this offseason I was comparing him with Gary Stills or Bennie Thompson. I really felt like he was getting to that level of impact. But you can't quantify those players, either, if you only look at their stat lines.

Bowe
Avery
Hemmingway
Dexter

All of those guys are very good fits for the WCO. They can get off the line quickly, are quick and fast in and out of their breaks and all of them run crisp routes.

Wylie isn't that bad, either, if he can get/stay healthy.

Why are you guys crying about Hammond? He wasn't anything special.

100% agree.
Really think Avery gets sold way short around here.
People initially thought he wasn't going to be healthy.
Turns out he is and looks really fast. Which we badly needed.
People can bitch about dexter but there are very few #4 wrs who have produced as much as he has the last cpl seasons.
And how can anyone bitch about hemmingway after what he has shown this off season?

Definitely offensive line. Geoff Schwartz is basically backing up both guard spots and RT.

Really dumb move cutting Matt Reynolds. I don't like that at all. We're not very secure at all if any of those spots get injuries.

You gotta love the Toub get.
He didn't seem to think he was indispensable, I guess.

What? Fasano has never produced as much in a single one of his 6 our 7 seasons as Miami did in his ROOKIE season. Moeaki is MUCH more talented, especially when blocking is favored in. Moeaki only missed the one season and a couple games.

He may have injury issues, but he is hand down the best TE in the roster this offseason. Can't make the team in the tub.

What do people see in Frankie Hammond Jr.? He's not that good. I didn't see anything ultra promising that I haven't seen out of previous kick returners we've had here.

****, the way Toub runs his system, just put any ol' asshat back there and we'll see success on returns.

He averaged 17 yds per point return on 6 Reid the other night. That's pretty damned good. That said, he offers nothing more.

I feel the same about Reynolds as you guys do Hammond.

I don't think Schwartz will end up being the backup ot. I think it will be Stephenson as the swing T and Schwartz in the middle, with kush the b/u c

I can't really disagree with that. They must think Martin offers more as a pass rusher.

Moeaki was more talented, but the fact remains Fasano had better numbers last year.
So therefore the Chiefs will not have to search for someone to replace his production or fill a hole like the article suggests.
And I have watched at least part of every game fasano played the last few seasons and have no clue why you would think that hes a shitty blocker.
I'm actually curious how you came to that conclusion.
Maybe I'm wrong.
Care to explain why you think that?

Mr. Laz 08-31-2013 07:46 PM

I'm surprised the didn't put Moeaki on that 8 game IR list

I don't think I recall Reynolds looking good at all. Pressure always seemed to come from the guards on the backup lines. The other side had Schwartz, so I have to believe Reynolds was a sieve, regardless of how much Saccapoo lines him.
