well PFF is stupid, but let's pretend it actually means something for the sake of this thread
If Alex is really dealt a line that seems to be "all-time" bad... then, uh... what does that say about his play? I'll admit I've been nothing but impressed by Alex this year, sans 1 game (Tenn) |

Imagine what he might do with even a respectable line and a real WR or two... |
well I think Bowe is certainly a real wide receiver...very under appreciated on CP

****in disgrace, a testament to how great Charles and knile are. Its not even like they're failing to pick up blitzers, and are getting confused or something, these guys just flat out get destroyed in one on one situations. I say we go after mike iupati in FA next year one of the best run blocking guards in the NFL, and another solid guy. And then take another tackle, and guard in the draft. Probably both in the 3rd round. This team isn't very far away from being one of the best teams in the NFL. And being a serious Superbowl contender, but this abortion of an o line has to go. And so do the wrs.

It's the horrible line making the QB worse, making the WR's worse, leading to stupid coaching decisions. It's all tied together. As frustrating as it was Reid did a great job this week of being patient and once we had the lead sticking with the run. Even though doing so must have been like eating sand for him... |

what's wrong with our receivers?
he has Bowe, Kelce, DAT looks like a better McCluster, Charles splits out wide and is great out of the backfield... I don't buy that narrative. |

The WR's are getting open. I think Smith is probably a little gunshy about throwing it to them down the field due to various reasons, but to continue to win games against good teams, he needs to take some of those shots.
