Its not a coincidence that the very same year that they made it online-only, that suddenly the Royals and Cardinals are both getting a huge number of starters.

The votes from each of the other 28 stadiums would have balanced things a bit more.

You said they should bring back paper ballots instead of online-only. I assume that meant having both. Having both would still lead to the vote being overwhelmingly dominated by the internet.

figures, dreaded 6th inning and volquez has lost command

Ned Yost the person, I would hangout with even if he wasn't winning. He's very laid back and I know he likes to drink. He'd be fun to chill with, no doubt.

I thought he said in an interview once he quit drinking. I must be wrong.

EDIT: Yeah, I don't know where that came from. Probably not him.

Still maintain that Duffy should be in Guthrie's spot. Guthrie has one of tbe worst ERAs in the AL. As with any pitcher, theres ups and downs. But his downs are really terrible and id rather go with Duffy due to his upside alone.

Well a few years ago at Spring Training he talked about breaking into a bottle of Tennessee Honey Whiskey. Maybe he's quit since then?

The paper ballot vote would be more than enough to exert a moderating influence. Infante wouldn't be close, and Morales would not be leading at DH, at the very least.

If there is one thing you're forgetting it's that the new commissioner isn't stuck with never changing things in the game like Selig was. For better or worse.

Well that sounds just like a smart ass answer, not saying he never drinks. I do highly doubt that.

Guthrie has THE worst ERA of qualified AL starters. The worst one

alnorth 06-10-2015 08:04 PM

Someone needs to start warming up. I'd like Volquez to go 6, but we need to plan for disaster

edit: and Morales is warming up. cool
