Also, while your post on QB yards bears out your point well, listing Brady as 27th and implying that as part of your support is a little disingenuous. I would have thrown an asterisk on that one.

I had a momentary brain fart, but my point still stands.

it really doesn't.

we have played some of the worse defenses in the league and have looked atrocious

oakland 25
New Orleans 29
Indianapolis 28
Carolina 24
San deigo 27

The bottom will fall out our offense will look just has bad as it did against jacksonville when we play a real d again.

I'm pretty sure this means the offense will look good, since your football takes are always wrong.

Oh gee..playing in NE without half of your stars...you're brilliant.

Please tell us all how the Patriots are going to compensate for the loss of Collins/Jones?

No...you act like the NFL is static. Like Sutton didn't learn anything from Belichicks game-plan last winter. Like KC could withstand losing 3-4 of its best players against NE in NE. Like the Patriots wont be affected by losing 2 of its 3 best defenders.

KC was fine until a shit-ton of injuries just happened..and guess what..they still won. Take a look at the mighty Steelers and how that team handled injuries to their best players...yep, they've lost like 4 in a row.

How long have you been watching football again?...its a game of attrition.

And Dorsey has given us good depth, enough to win even if the wins aren't pretty. That is really all you can ask of a team, to keep winning despite losing key players to injury.

KC was not fine our offense 28th overall when everything was said and done the writing was on the wall that the offense was gonna cost us a game when it mattered and it did.

I agree. I also think it's reasonable for some to be concerned that it isn't trending in that direction. Hopefully we see signs of it today.

Got ya.

Some QBs are just better postseason QBs. Flacco, Eli, and Alex Smith are three I think of that people clown on but can get it done. Alex hasn't won a super bowl but he got the 49ers close and has been really good with KC. Alex Smith isn't the reason we've lost those games. Frankly, his NE game last season showed he'll make the necessary plays. Now, this is what I'm hanging my hat on since Alex is struggling right now. My hope is that today he rebounds with his best game of the year and gets his confidence back.

Since the beginning of 2001: 189-60 in the regular season. Yup, any day now, Bart Scott. "This team hates their coach."

Thread title looks like a joke now.

Too bad the Chiefs aren't built to beat the Bucs.
