This team pays Eric Fisher and trades Marcus Peters typical dumbshit.

Eric Fisher was signable, Marcus Peters would have had to been franchised as he was never signing.

Hilarious reaction before we even know what we're getting in compensation.

LOUD NOISES!

They didn’t want to invest in him and I kind of get that. Depends on the picks coming back and what you do with them. He was really good in spots but he’s also a mental case which really isn’t all bad in football. I’ll wait and see. Super talented football player but I get the decision. Keep in mind none of us have to deal with his drama.

It'll be really interesting if some of these vets decide this move makes them not wanna be here.

Kicked off his college team, fell to the Chiefs, now gets traded. This isn't hard to comprehend stop being a baby.

Surprising to read this... would have to imagine KC gets a nice return in the trade. Wonder if it's just draft picks? I can't imagine it being the #1 and they don't have a #2.

Round 1: L.A. Rams (23rd)
Round 2: None
Round 3: L.A. Rams
Round 4: L.A. Rams
Round 5: L.A. Rams
Round 6: L.A. Rams, Buffalo, Detroit
Round 7: Baltimore*

That would be horrible.

Nah they fixed that issue.

My thought exactly. Andy is a players coach and a pretty tolerable guy. Either this was a decision made above Andy/Veach, or they were just done with his shit.

Sucks either way

He wasn't

Came back to the sidelines with wearing cleats with no socks, like he was Mary Tyler Moore at a clambake.

Just saying that it is best to trade him and get something because he wasn't going to re-sign is an easy out.

Maybe that's true.

But maybe things happened that led us to that point. It could be Marcus Peters, and he obviously brings a lot of stuff to the table both in talent AND temper. But it also could be a franchise that unrealistically expected him to fit the Chiefs mold where we're more interested in winning "Man of the Year" than MVP.

This I will say: Clark saw Marty and Carl brought in loose cannon guys like Chester McGlocklin, Andre Rison and Carlton Gray, and they were more trouble than they were worth. The whole kneeling for the anthem thing may be a factor. Think of all the military that is in our "Chiefs Kingdom": Ft. Riley, Ft. Leavenworth, Whiteman AFB, Ft. Leonard Wood, Offutt AFB. Personally, I think Peters has the right to silent protest, but the Chiefs PR staff and CHunt may see it as a slap in the face to the military. CHunt is a major GOP donor. I'm sure Andy had to sign off on this. Looks like he picked Sutton over Peters, since they were screaming at each other last year. If you're going to trade Peters, he's at his zenith in trade value right now. We'll certainly miss his ball skills, but he carries a lot of baggage. I'm just glad he went to the NFC West instead of the Raiders.

and the raise the roof guy. Ugh

In58men 02-23-2018 12:44 PM

I’m hearing it’s only their 1st and 5th round picks.

Yea it would be completely stupid to use an option and a tag to get him till he's about 30 at a position that declines at about that age, no we trade him now.

Yes lets trade all pros god knows we have good enough CB's to make this move uh huh.
