Sorry, I didn't realize we were operating in a 'who has more money' moral paradigm.

Reminds me, just curious. Where do you fall on the 'people who try to alter their consumer plans to send a message to Nike are just irrelevant old fat bald white slobs in clunky-ass American made shoes anyway' mantra?

I'm simply a capitalist at heart who doesn't really get worked up about what a private company chooses to do. If you don't like their choices, there are plenty of other companies who provide similar products. That's about all it comes down to to me.

In case it somehow matters, I don't think I've bought a Nike product in over a decade.

No one is up in arms over their corporate strategy.

Maybe you'll get it when Brooke Pryor talks them into their 'Kansas City Child Beaters' NFL gear line.

It's not about the shoe. No one is clamoring for the shoe.

It's about the reason for the pull.

You and Ravs were on your couch for the AFFCG.

Our window was last year? It was a miracle we even got that far with that defense.

No, that window just opened. Good luck.

The Ravens won SB XXXV with Trent Dilfer at QB and SB XXXVII with Joe Flacco at QB. It means, you don't need a great QB, but rather a great team. I believe the Chiefs window was last year, I'll take our chances with our team and QB.

Since just 2000 we've made the playoffs 11 times, two Super Bowl victories, 15 playoff victories, five AFC North titles, and what have the Chiefs done? You know what they say, Defense wins Championships. Next time, stop Brady.

Your boy Lamar better become a "student of the game" and improve his passing otherwise he will learn the same hard lesson that Vick,VYoung,RGIII and even Cam are learning right now. You can't run 3/4s of the time and expect to be successful let alone stay healthy.

I'll give you this, outside of a very few things, you hide your emotions very well.

All of those guys were better passers than Lamar.

By a LOT.

As rookies.

I don't think it's really that. I just firmly believe that we'd all be better off if we worried less about the things that don't really impact our lives directly. I kind of long for the days before the internet where people paid much less attention to things and worried more about the people in their own lives.

Sure would be nice, . .. if only our exclusive singular sole source for Chiefs news about now were KCStar and KCTV5!!

;)

I understand the impulse to disengage. And perhaps if it was just Nike and their failed QB up to their hijinks, I'd be even more blase [FTR, despite the exchange here I'm more eye roll than kettle boil on the matter]. But if you have presidential candidates weighing in favorably on the disparagement of revolutionary era icons, you might consider a modicum of engagement.

Nothing to argue with there.

Nike never considers selling some stupid shoe; nobody gives a shit.
Nike considers selling some stupid shoe, but then (publicly, lol) changes their mind; omuhgawd we mad! Boycott Nike!

Gotta love useful idiots.

I understand why you're desperate to promote this narrative, but you're lying.

Which part, exactly, constitutes a “lie”?

You, relatively, rarely post in the lounge, and yet, when you do, you still have to be a dick. I should have anticipated as much, I suppose.
