I’m just now at the point where I can safely assume I’m not getting a call for work. I could leave now and find a place to park far away and make it in time, but make it where exactly? Some place where I can’t see anything because the crowd is already too large? Unless one of you just happens to have a hotel balcony view you’d like to invite me to I’m just going to enjoy it on tv at the bar while sipping bourbon.

I have a house in Hyde Park.

currently residing mostly in Lee's Summit at my ladyfriend's house.

We'd both prefer to live at my house; but her children are in good schools and KCMO schools are a cesspool of underfunded, unaccredited bullshit.

her kids are thriving where they're at, so...

But I rent my place to a couple of friends and fellow/musicians, keep a recording/rehearsal studio in my basement, and keep a bedroom there for a late night/post-gig/crashpad.

Yeah KCMO schools are a disaster. What's the crime like in your area of Hyde Park? Seems very hit or miss in some areas over there.
