Holy shit, not good. |
we played poorly on purpose so that when we see all these teams in the playoffs they think they know what will beat our defense right?

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">I’ll say this… based upon the limited quotes we’ve gathered this week, I'd expect the <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Chiefs?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Chiefs</a> to make the change at safety. They’re not going to come out and outright tell us that or criticize a struggling player, which, in my opinion, is the right way to go about it. <a href="https://t.co/1zjTcdJ8eV">https://t.co/1zjTcdJ8eV</a></p>— Pete Sweeney (@pgsween) <a href="https://twitter.com/pgsween/status/1448697156588683264?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">October 14, 2021</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

I don't think I'd be willing to say that Juan Thornhill has played as the 35th best safety in football - but I'd be willing to say that he's been average to slightly above and use that rank as support of that. That says he's probably been somewhere from 30-50 and that's probably a fair statement. And I'm not inclined to say that Dan Sorensen has been the 76th best safety (hell, he could very well be worse) but I'm more than happy to say that PFF has accurately ranked him as a bottom of the barrel option. It's usually good enough to put guys into relatively accurate quintiles. |
so Sorenson will be starting again Sunday I take it?
