Say no to deer antler spray, Dan. It's not on you.

I get that Spags isn't going to throw a player under the bus at a presser. Fine. Watch what he does, not what he says.

So let's see what happens on the field Sunday. See if Dirty Dan is playing 100% of the snaps again. Or even 90%.

If he plays that much then heads need to roll.

Is Thornhill's Spags, Derrick Johnson's Todd Haley? DJ's was out there for several to see.

Fire him. With that bullshit response it's really ****ing obvious why this defense is so content to loaf around. No accountability whatsoever.

I legit don’t know how you, as a DC, watch the shitshow that was out there for the last 5 games and come to the idea that everything needs to continue as is.

Sorenson shouldn't even play more than 50%. He should only be out there for multiple Safety sets. He should be used as a box safety, nothing else.

Let’s just see if his PT goes down more than a couple of plays. He hasn’t been below 91% in any game this year.

Holy shit, not good.

TribalElder 10-14-2021 12:02 PM

we played poorly on purpose so that when we see all these teams in the playoffs they think they know what will beat our defense right?

we can't really be this bad can we?

one of the shows said 7 yards per play giving up wow

PFF isn't worth a shit for 'fine' decisions (30th best vs. 40th best) but when it comes to tiers its plenty viable.

I don't think I'd be willing to say that Juan Thornhill has played as the 35th best safety in football - but I'd be willing to say that he's been average to slightly above and use that rank as support of that. That says he's probably been somewhere from 30-50 and that's probably a fair statement.

And I'm not inclined to say that Dan Sorensen has been the 76th best safety (hell, he could very well be worse) but I'm more than happy to say that PFF has accurately ranked him as a bottom of the barrel option.

It's usually good enough to put guys into relatively accurate quintiles.

petegz28 10-14-2021 12:49 PM

so Sorenson will be starting again Sunday I take it?
