They voted to get rid of it a few years ago, but apparently the federal government has to approve it. Not sure why this bill is just sitting around. Nobody anywhere wants the time change, but they just want to hold on to it for the hell of it.

Aren't after school/work activities more important than having more daylight in the morning at bus stops?

When I was a kid, the main thing I hated about bus stops was standing around and freezing my ass off in the winter. Light versus dark wasn't the problem.

When it’s dark they can’t see what a shithole they live in. Sounds like a win/win.

You’d think North Dakotans would want it to be dark 24 hours a day all year so they could pretend they didn’t live there. :shrug:

Extra light before work is useless. No one is cutting the grass before work. But I can do it after. When we drop back I have to save everything up for the weekend. It's just shitty.
