Not sure how that benefits Hardman though. Playing and balling out this playoffs would be a better business decision vs sitting out if he is healthy enough to play.

Wasn't Mecole practicing then stopped. Like a re injury? Seems like they know hes not going but want him available and not on the IR for the run if he is good to go. If you put him on IR what is the benefit? Kaindoh on the active roster instead?

Put Hardman on IR and he's done for 4 weeks.

Mecole's already stated that he's trying to get back on the field, Andy has been pretty certain that Mecole wants to play, but just isn't responding to treatment the way the training staff would like, so i don't get all the conspiracy BS. Andy will understate things, but he's not in the habit of outright lying. Plus, Andy's said that Mecole wanted to go a week or two ago, but the staff and the WR coach thought he'd better rest instead.

I don't think Andy is shady enough to just make that up. I think if Mecole was pulling some sort of stunt, Andy would treat it similar to how he treated the Shady McCoy thing; he'd basically not answer questions about it.

Mecole is brilliantly lowering his market value by missing the 2nd half of what was on track to be his best statistical season in order to......do what? That's good business.

Because that is the only thing intentionally sitting out half of the season and playoffs accomplishes for him... which is why he is legitimately too injured to play.

then it's a dumb ****ing decision. Missing half the year makes a long term deal hard for any team. If he plays this week or not and is successful, he would get exactly what he wanted.
