Here to give it up to my bud Big Daddy he maintained the faith after we fell behind 2 games to none.

Way to go Lakers, way to go Troy.:thumb::thumb:

Good deal, gotta keep moving on to that Lakers-Pacers final so Larry Bird can beat the Lakers one last time... :D

The last 5 championships have gone to either San Antonio or Los Angeles...

If only the Spurs were in the East, maybe I'd hate them the way I still do the Celtics. As it is, Kevin Willis is the only guy I think is a dick. Okay, okay... so Tony Parker gets the usual frenchman derision... but, other than those two, the Spurs just have a likeable team. Tim Duncan is the kind of player and person that teams would kill for, Devin Brown played his ASS OFF, and Horry is Horry.

That said, nice to see the Lake-show bring it back.

Personally, I'm hoping for a Timberwolves/Lakers matchup. One of my best friends, who happens to live where I'm moving to in a few months, is a huge T-Wolves fan, so I'm looking forward for the opportunities to talk mad shit...

Having just watched SportsCenter, I've gotta ask: When Kobe was getting love from Ron Harper near the bench, who was that Bootsy Collins looking motherf***er behind them?

The Lakers really surprised me. I thought they'd lose it in 7. They seem to be getting better as the playoffs go a long. I keep forgetting that they really haven't all played together for that long because of injuries. What's scary is that in the past if Shaq scored under 20 that usually meant they lost.

I think they won the championship tonight. I don't think the T-Wolves/Kings or the Pistons/Nets, Pacers/Heat will give them that much trouble.

testing-Go Spurs-Only a test.

You will witness a similar elimination tonight with the Kings/Wolves.

GO TWOLVES!!!

Troy, unless something goes horribly wrong, is the bet still on? Winner picks loser's sig for 2 weeks.

TheNextStep 05-16-2004 07:13 PM

Yes. That was him.

Congrats BIG DADDY on your Lakers taking the series. Having said that I'd like to say GO WOLVES, KINGS, PACERES, or ANYONE ELSE but the LAKERS! :p

I'm in Cali and hoping for another Kings-Lakers matchup. When these two play, the whole state is divided! Its craziness! GO LAKERS!

I agree, but I honestly can't see anyone threatening them that is left.

I agree. The only way they lose now is if they completely collapse or the Kings advance, Bobby Jackson enters the playoffs and the Kings play out of their minds. That's not gonna happen. Funny all these Indy fans out there. Hell they are having a hard time getting past the 42-40 Heat.
