It probably looks good. Does it match the trailer skirting too, Earl?

That's why Tony Gonzalez will always be better than Antonio Gates...

Gates is overrated if you ask me.

That should be a TD

tk13 01-17-2010 06:44 PM

Jets are only rushing three here every down.

'Hamas' Jenkins 01-17-2010 06:44 PM

Do you onside it if you're SD?

Hootie 01-17-2010 06:45 PM

that was a TD by Jackson...

that's huge, too...took about 25 additional seconds off the clock.

siberian khatru 01-17-2010 06:45 PM

I hope Kaeding hits the extra point.

DeezNutz 01-17-2010 06:45 PM

Well, I think we know how this is going to end.

#4.

dirk digler 01-17-2010 06:45 PM

Ok Jackson made up for his boneheaded play. I will keep him now. :D

The Mad Crapper 01-17-2010 06:45 PM

Well. It don't come easy.

Onsides kick here we come.

Rain Man 01-17-2010 06:45 PM

Boy, I thought he was in.

If the Chargers can score and get an onside kick, all they need is a Kaeding field goal to win. Heh-heh.

I'd kick deep. All you have to do is stop the run 3 times if you can.

Stinger 01-17-2010 06:45 PM

To early to onside right?

I don't think they've had a 3 and out since the first half so I'm gonna say yes.

-King- 01-17-2010 06:46 PM

If Kaeding made his makeable FGs, it would be a 20-17 game.

tk13 01-17-2010 06:46 PM

Knowing the Jets are going to run it 3 times, maybe they should kick it away. Wouldn't always advise that but the Jets are pretty conservative.

Hootie 01-17-2010 06:46 PM

I don't onside here...

This puts Schottenheimer in quite the bind...

Do you let Sanchez throw to pick up a 1st down and win the game?

I think you have to. If you don't stop the Jets on D, it doesn't matter where the ball is when they get it. Might as well give yourself a chance.

stupid decision by Norv. WTF is he thinking?

WildTurkey 01-17-2010 06:47 PM

wow too bad for the Chargers that Dwayne Bowe isn't on the Jets "Hands" team

noa 01-17-2010 06:48 PM

That was a pretty good attempt there. Great opportunity for the Chargers, but the ball just didn't bounce their way.

Football is a game of centimeters and ball bounces.

'Hamas' Jenkins 01-17-2010 06:48 PM

I love Kerry Rhodes. He is a BAMF.

Now SD is going to have to go 50-60+ yards for the chance to tie AND they have to get a stop.

kstater 01-17-2010 06:48 PM

Sanchez has the Red light right now.

He would also get the extra point after the field goal.

If I'm a Charger and I lose this game after winning 11 straight, after all the past failures, I would go and blow my brains out.

Why do you not take the timeout before the 2 minute warning? Now you're going to waste 5-6 seconds on another running play before losing 45 more seconds on the 3rd down play.

kstater 01-17-2010 06:49 PM

Always take the time on the front end.

DeezNutz 01-17-2010 06:49 PM

How many TOs do these fools have?

If they have 2, it was a big mistake not to burn one before the warning.

Stinger 01-17-2010 06:49 PM

why don't you take the TO on this side of the 2:00 warning?

Couple that with the onside kick and Norv is really hurting his team. I would have kicked it deep. You know the Jets will try and burn clock so why not get yourself some field position?

Yep that is what I was thinking. I would also make the argument they might be more inclined to throw with this field position than being backed up.

Play to the strength of your team. The Chargers will have 70 seconds to get 60 yards. I have the #1 pass D in the league, and a rookie QB, along with the best running game in the league.

I run it 3 times.
