That was the last step her character needed to shed he old self. Standing up to that abusive guy much bigger than her shed her of all her baggage. Her confidence was already there but this was like Luke choosing to face Vader... |
Rick is one incident away from becoming certifiable again. However, I'm thinking things are going to be pretty damn awesome now that he's going to be in charge... These pansies need some tough love.
After seeing Glen take care of bidness, I really hope they don't go the same route as the comics. Every time they focus on him I like him a little more. |
Quote:
That said in both the show and comix he's always needed his friends to pull him back from the edge at times. And Rick doesn't need some damaged blonde - he needs to wake up with a sword above his fireplace...:D |

I like this Carol so much better than the comic book Carol. |

It looks like a Ricktatorship, but Carol is the orchestrator.

Possible factions in the next season???

They've already got a super team. This group right now is like the Apocalypse Avengers. You've got Rick the Punisher, She-Blade (Michonne), Black Daredevil (Morgan,) and Hillbilly-Hawkeye (Daryl,) with the Silver Witch (Carol) twisting the heads of people up in knots. At this point I feel sorry for anyone that crosses them... |

EDIT - Oops, need to look at the larger version of the banner. |

It could be nothing but it just seems odd that they intentionally split Rick's group and the Alexandria group + Morgan & Rev. Gabs into such distinct groups. Or maybes it's just the mid-summer lack of TWD fix hitting me. |

coming out with a movie this year too. |

I don't remember what seasons it happened in but over a number of episodes Rick's mantra was "you can come back. You get to come back." Current Rick is gone. He's already miles beyond his breaking point. He's about a block away from being the man Morgan was the second time we ran across him. Morgan on the other had has bottomed out and come back. Regained his humanity. I could easily see Rick being the one who saved Morgan's humanity, helping him come back, and now Morgan feeling like he's got to do the same for Rick. I'm pumped for this season. Just really love the current casting... |

I think of it as Twilight Zone-Light. |
Looks like Heath is going to be introduced this season.

Anyone read the latest issue, (144) yet?
Holy shitballs. That was some serious shit. I'm thinking it's not who Rick expects, though. |
Watching these reruns in the background. I miss Herschel.

So much good stuff coming up.
The town has to transition from weak pussies to tough survivors. Morgan finally reunites with Rick. Michonne is still hot. etc. |

Can't wait for tonight episode.
|
I can already tell that Coral is gonna have to put that other kid down. He didn't like Rick killing his dad.

Love the way they shot this episode so far. Really neat way they separated the scenes.
|
I have to vote for the "Mex" side of that commercial.
Posted via Mobile Device |
They certainly know how to jump right into the action. This looks to be a good season.

Getting a "memento" vibe.
|
That "Fear the Walking Dead" commercial...I bet that kid is on the plane that appears to crash in like the fourth episode.

WTF?
|
So someone in Alexandria has a giant fog horn?

I have forgotten how great this show is.
Just ****ing awesome. |
Anyone get a Wizard of Oz vibe when Tara woke up?

I was watching tonight's episode and some other episodes before that, and it struck me that the zombies on TWD seem to move much faster than those we've seen on FTWD.

EDIT: Talking Dead confirms that I'm not the only one with this theory. Was it Ron? Not buying that. Not yet. Enid? A call for help maybe? (see next weeks preview. And what is JSS?) Brilliant episode that blew my mind. So a bit long winded here. There are a few things I didn't understand though. Non-spoilery takes:
Very, very well done episode. I was asked recently which I like better, BB or TWD. Easily TWD for me. This show just takes everything to new heights. I'm a bigger fan of the story than the zombies and graphic kills. Though those rock too! I would have accepted less less from this episode. I'm really liking FTWD but it will never be this good. It just can't be. But if it does, look out. When does Saul return? |

I was referring to the end scene in The Wizard of Oz when everything was black and white again and Dorothy woke up to find her family and everyone from the farm present. But I can totally see that scene from LOTR when Frodo wakes up. |

I've hated that dude that played Carter since he played that spazz in Empire Records.
