RIP Hay. Glad to have been able to get to know you a little bit. All the respect and admiration for how you conducted yourself during your illness. **** cancer. Rest easy and we look forward to eventually seeing you again in the clearing at the end of the path.
Peace and fair skies, brother. |
RIP. Brave man that made the most of his final years.

I'm really sorry to hear about this, sad news. RIP

RIP Haywire. I never got to meet him, but his journey documented on CP was an inspiration. I hope when it is my time that I can show the same courage and grace that he did. He will be missed.

RIP HayWire, hopefully the music is loud and they let you raise a little hell.
This dude was Chiefs to the bone. He even was married in red and yellow. I pray for his family and loved ones. RIP Mike. |
Oh damn, what?
No, just no... he'd been talking like the docs had been somewhat wrong, and he had more time left Wow, RIP Michael |
Carry on my wayward son, there will be peace when you are done.
RIP to a true individual that we had the opportunity and pleasure to have in our presence. RIP Chiefs Brother |
Survived by his dad who is facing life threatening challenges of his own, unreal
Just noticed this.. Sad to see a good fellow CPer gone too soon. He faced this with humor and bravery that I’m not sure I could do.. Glad he is at peace now.
Prayers to his family who have lost a special person… RIP Haywire.. |

Cancer is ****ing bullshit.
Rest in Peace Haywire. |
He fought hard I sensed that he was going to beat this but sadly cancer wins again. Prayers to his family who fought the fight with him. Prayers if you give them for HWs finale journey. Rest peacefully Haywire.
RIP Haywire.
I never met him other than on this board. My impression is that he lived life at its fullest at 100MPH while also being an extremely generous, unselfish man and seemingly an inspiration to all who knew him as well as many who just knew him on the internet. He will be missed.
Damn, I didn't realize he was only 48. :(
No idea he was 48. That hits way to close to home.
Damn this is so sad. Guy was a ****ing warrior though! Rest in peace
Way too young....
Great Chiefs Fan and better person RIP Michael |
RIP, Haywire. You showed a bunch of people how to fight cancer with dignity and a little humor. The world is a little less without someone like you in it.
RIP.
Wow. I don't know what to say. 48...damn...
Way too young. **** cancer.
Rest in Peace Haywire. You were one hell of a man!

Just catching up after a long weekend.
This is crap news. RIP Haywire. You did it the right way. |
RIP
RIP, I hope you can watch the Chiefs three-peat.
True example of bravery. I hope a number of us are able to learn from and if lucky enough emulate his example.
RIP Haywire. A true example of courage
RIP to a CP treasure. Thanks for being you man. You fought hard to the end, but went out the best way possible peacefully sleeping. You will be missed!
Prayers for your whole family. |
RIP Haywire. Thank you for showing us the way. You will be truly missed by all and my thoughts are with your family during this tragic time.

**** cancer, we'll miss you brother. Rest easy.
RIP brother...
RIP. On the flip side, I'm pretty sure G_d is a CHIEFS fan so you know they'll watch in heaven.
Horrible news. I am very sorry to hear this and hope his family and friends will find peace in time. 48 is too young to be dying and from such a horrible thing. I can only hope Prison Bitch has some karma coming from being a worthless human being and making jokes about this.
RIP
I did not know haywire. But death at 48? Massive eye opener that anything can happen to any of us at any moment.
So we better enjoy our chiefs and the lives we have while we can. We’re lucky to have them |
RIP Mr. HayWire
****. Way too young. RIP sir.
48??! Oh my God! Younger than me! Poor man. Such a champ.
