It's been interesting, not great baseball or fun...maybe like looking at a train wreck......:)

Not such a bad loss. I think if they would have rolled over and let Carp take the loss would have been much worse.

Hope Pujols ankle doesn't tighten up too much and Holliday's hand is okay.

Usually I ignore responses like this, but you got my attention Buster Rabbi. July 5th, he was OPS'ing .539. In August, he was OPS'ing .753. It's obvious that his injury was the cause of a shitty performance when he came back from the DL.

So, be a good lad, and run along, and let us men have our discussions.

Ramirez is an average third baseman, at best.

Mark Prior was also very good when healthy, but what does that get you?

'Hamas' Jenkins 08-26-2010 09:44 PM

Burn in Hell, John Mozeliak, Felipe Lopez, and Tony LaRussa.

What?

Holliday may be done for the year, Pujols is now severely banged up, we are 4 games back. We also trashed our bullpen and Garcia has struggled to go deep lately minus one start.

We blew a save after a great comeback and our offense shit down their legs whilst our manager completely quit trying to win.

Average? Ha, thanks for the laugh. I needed that.

Prior was good. Shame he was ruined by Dusty Baker.

No. You will stay here and suffer for the rest five weeks.

Coach 08-26-2010 10:03 PM

Sorry Card fans, but I have to respectfully disagree with Buster Rabbi's comment that Aramis is "average".

U can't tell me that a guy, including this year injury-plagued season, that has been ops'ing at a .894 (or a 125+ OPS) as a Cub, "average".

With that said, tough loss, Card fans, but there are still plenty of baseball left. The Reds can't stay hot forever. Also, does St. Louis have any more games against the Reds?

The Braves had a similiar meltdown the middle game of that three setter in Denver. Up 10-1 in the sixth, - Braves lost 12-10, the Rockies set some sort of record, or something. Biggest comeback in franchise history. Also we were a victim of a no hitter thrown against us. THIS YEAR! - so yeah, shit like that always happens to my team, and have you ever noticed on ESPN and Fox Sports, EVERYTIME they show a highlight of a player? .. the player's clip almost always shows a Chief getting burned. It's just amazing just how often it really is like that.

one of the games needs to be set aside for a bean ball. can't be used to figure in the standings, however it goes.

I say we are up 7-2 on Sunday. 9th inning and Mcdougal puts a 97 mph fastball in Phillips ribs.

WTF is Pujols doing at the Glen Beck rally? Palin and Beck speaking but its not political? Give me a break...

'Hamas' Jenkins 08-28-2010 10:27 AM

It's pretty hypocritical given that he's been an outspoken opponent of the immigration law.

LaRussa tried to frame it as an apolitical assembly of "faith".
