theres different ways to look at it...

if bum wins , the odds still heavily favor SF...bottom line

for example lets say the two games at the K, the royals are 60% to win each game, still only gives a 36% chance to win both games (for the royals)

you have to move it up to 70% royal win percent (per game) chance to win each game to break even

(49% chance to win 2 games in a row @ 70% chance to win each game)

Whereas SF would only need 1 game out of the two...so even at 70% chance of royals winning per game it would be 30% + 21% = 51% chance to win one game out of two

I think

What the actual **** happened?

I'm already over this game.

AFAIC, last night's win was HUGE, it guaranteed a return to KC. It took all the pressure off winning today or Sunday. After last night I already was preparing for the possibility of having to win two at home. And I'm OK with that.

I'm not predicting we're gonna sweep in KC, but I'm comfortable with that scenario.

It would be hilarious if Strickland gave up another HR here.

That single run that would have scored on the bases loaded walk would have affected later decisions by Yost, such as bringing Escobar in on the ground ball that scored a run.

This is why milkman is a ****ing CP industry. He's forgotten more about sports than most of us will ever know.

Milk, tell us about Teddy Williams?
Do you remember when the Babe called his shot?

Losing the World Series in Kansas City in front of everyone is what I would expect being a fan of Kansas City / missouri sports teams LMAO

"momentum" is not a thing in baseball

We've still got a fighting chance. I expected this to be a dogfight all the way anyway, so I guess that's where we are. The Giants aren't like the Angels or O's, they're hard to kill.

You're like a ****ing five year old is what you are. There is a Cardinals thread you can go to. And I can see my dick just fine... You sure seem to like thinking and talking about dicks and jerking off dicks.

I'm already over this game. I'm going to go pray to the Little Baby Jesus that James finds his game, and brings it strong tomorrow night.:)

I don't think it's a thing in any sport, but that's a different discussion

If you had a healthy Cain this series would be totally different. But by that same token if we had a healthy Wacha, I don't think you make it past us. Injuries are part of the game and breaks.
