He was doing some kind of a weird walk like someone shoved a Louisville Slugger up his ass along the sidelines. I couldn't tell if he was hurt of if he was just dinking around.

Seemed to me like he was doing a walking robot kinda celebration for the good run despite the penalty.

Sweet Daddy Hate, Raised on Roids, Dagnabit, about a million other names.

Claims he's risen above watching football because Alex Smith broke him, but he's here soon as the game is over to spread his spooge.

For as terrible as the offense played, the Chiefs still had a chance to make a 3rd down stop (if Gaines makes the tackle) late in the 4th and drive down for a TD to tie the game. Alex was off on many of his throws. Maclin couldn't catch the ball for awhile there. Andy called a bad game on offense (especially start of 2nd half). Schwartz was owned by Watt and really didn't look to be that great tackle that we expected to be getting in FA. Everyone on offense couldn't keep a hold of the ball. Way too many penalties killed drives and took away a kick return TD. And despite the fact that the defense was put in shitty positions all day long, they played pretty well and the Chiefs were very much in this game until the end.

I agree with everything but the last. The Chiefs were never in the game. We had no way of knowing it at the time, but it was over in the first quarter. The team showed absolutely nothing on offense that would make anybody think they could muster up even a single touchdown. Maybe there was some lingering optimism from last week's fluke comeback or something, but this game was not competitive in any way, shape or form. Texas won playing their style of (boring...) ball and we just rolled over. The score appearing close was a mirage. We had zero chance.

I tried about 6 or 7, most of them from reddit. A couple from kodi.

No offense, but whomever posted the one in this game thread. I've never seen such an abortion of a stream. It was like one of those 90s rap videos where the entire video and audio stuttered like a record scratching.

Zizz-zuh zipp zipp, Alex Smi-Smi-Smi-Smi-Smith, . . . and incom-com-com-com-com-com-com-com.

They were in it until Morse ****ed up that snap. From there the Chiefs were on lifesupport and the Texans couldn't yank out the cord until the final FG drive.

KChiefs1 09-18-2016 02:42 PM

If we only had Santos in this game.

If we don't pull a miracle and beat the Jets we are going 1-4. Pitt is a loss hand down.

I've had the Texans as the next big thing for a while now. Having a running game and another receiver to take pressure off Hopkins is huge. The DL is ready to rape.

I hoped we would escape with a Houdini win, but pictured something involving a late failure within a TD at best.

Come back to how you felt about this game in a month when the Texans have slapped a few more teams around and reconsider.

A lot of us moving the ball late was the opposition bleeding the game right, like the Bolts tried and failed. They play every down full on, and it could have been a bloodbath.

We face them again in the offseason, and we'll need;

HFA,
the defense with Houston raping Osw,
and a couple big STs plays.

No brainer. After that:

Saints - might give up 50

@ Colts - could give up another fiddy (like that playoff game)

vs Jaguars - a WIN?! granted, opponent will once again have a better QB, will rely on luck

@ Panthers - ROFLROFLROFL

we all expected Hopkins and fuller to get some numbers.
Hopkins had 7 receptions for 113 yards and a TD. Fuller had 104 yards. That isn't "getting some numbers"... that is two receivers hitting us for over 100 yards each. That is bad. Really bad. but not a problem.

Quit whining, there's 14 games left and two of the better defensive lines are now behind us.

Good grief
Not whining at all. I'm at peace with what this team is. I just stopped trying to convince myself that they are better than they actually are a while ago. All those things above though... big problems.

You are absolutely right though... there are 14 games left and the team and it is completely possible that they get their shit together so I'm not in a panic. That said... they look like shit right now.

/edit - insert sarcasm font for all the Not a problem responses above
