Eh...even if those 3 things happen, I still kinda feel like that's a WR room that pretty much just adequate.
But I guess 'adequate' is viable. But that first half of the SB stands out in a pretty big way to me. When they doubled Kelce we had NOTHING. There was no response at all and it took a superhuman 2nd half from Mahomes combined with probably the finest half of Andy Reid's career to pull that one from the fire.
It would be nice if our balls weren't THAT close to the bandsaw. Don't get me wrong, the ability to hit a double-bank shot into the corner pocket to sink the 8 is a nice one to have, but wouldn't you prefer just have give yourself better leave? |
