The longer this waiting to sign for Hopkins, the better for the Chiefs.

1. KC is seeing what they have with their current WRs. Maybe coaches will really like what we have and see no need for Hopkins (at the price he is asking).

2. The demand for his services must not be that great, so maybe he becomes more affordable.

3. Gives KC more time to get other contracts (Jones) in place.

Did you read the post I quoted? He said that he thought Hopkins was waiting on the Chiefs to get an extension done with Jones. I said he's not signing here.

Hopkins wants to sign with a good team for alot of money. That's not happening so we see him taking visits to shit birds.

Now he's gonna "assess his options". Aka, wait to see if someone will pay at the last minute.

Seems like he is going to try to drag this out long enough to see how much he can ultimately get from Buffalo or the Chiefs.
