I thought all along hearing Pioli talk about the "type" of person you give the $ to he was going to pick Berry. His discussion about 1st round grades etc... sent people into a tailspin. He was answering questions asked about his opinion yet everything Pioli said was taken as direct meaning to the 5th pick.

If you read what he said, Albert was the LT, he wanted a good character guy, he didn't say he wouldn't pick a safety at #5, it was fairly clear.
