My point is that all of a sudden there's people all around me talking like they know all these individual players and their history.... when in fact, i've never seen 1 person watching a match casually (non- World Cup) ...
I admit as well, i watched the match too... and i'm not dissing people who like it, i just find it odd that all these people are bragging like they've been following it all their lives.... yet, i've seen no evidence of those people ever even watching a match..

There is a strong contingent of soccer fans on this board that post in soccer threads (yes we have them) throughout the year.
A lot of new fans are springing up because the tournament has a natural appeal to sports fans (especially those who are passionate about their country).

really buddy? ignore me so far??? were you ignoring me yesterday when i was on here stating i was watching the game and cheering for the USA as well? I wasn't dissing the CP members for liking soccer, in fact i wasn't even talking about CP members... i was talking about the people around me, as evidenced by the fact that i stated that in my post...
