Detoilet’s draft says hi.

Perhaps they want a track team on offense like the old Al Davis Raiders. They drafted Williams last year and Gibbs this year. Remember that Dorsey was there advising them and while he sucks as a GM, he does have an eye for talent.

He’s got a punchable, Carson Wentz-ian face.

I might be way off, but I did think after the round finished..."are GMs getting less dumb" - it just felt like there were fewer WTF moments. There are guys who went earlier than I expected, and somelike like Richardson could end up a massive bust. But most years there's at least 1 or 2 guys picked that just have no business being there, I'm struggling to see one this year. Most of the picks seem pretty defensible.

I'm mostly with you but dumbfounded two running backs went in the first twelve picks. I would be highly pissed. What the hell is Detroit doing? Is it going to start running three-back sets?

Very excited to see what KC does over the next few days. The first round is what it is, but dynasties are built and sustained in rounds 2-7. Looking at KC's roster, it is amazing how few 1st rounders were starting. I can only think of four off the top of my head (Mahomes, Toney, McDuffie, and Kalaftis). Veach does his best work after Round 1, so I feel confident that he will draft some very solid players that some might not have expected him to.

I don’t think veach is close to done yet. He’s also aggressive in the second and third waves of free agency.

That being said, we’ve got to get to work on our offense. I’m glad we’ll have a good defense but cincy and buffalo will be much better on offense next year. I still believe even if our defense is great we have to prepare to win a shootout. And right now we still have ?s at WR, shaky at Tackle and reasonable risk of losing Jet.

He really does doesn't he. Almost a combo of Wentz/McVay

They sure did. They didn’t wanna see him smoking OBJ and hammering their dickhead QB

Unfortunately for them, OBJ will have to block Felix now. We did just fine.

God inagine how much harder DEs will push to sack a banana-peel eating mayo boy with a very punchable face.

Detroit took Jack Campbell 18th overall. Yeah, he’s probably one of the best LB’s in Hawkeye history but he’s an off-ball LB. He’s great in coverage but man, 18th overall?

I’m a life long Iowa fan. Campbell is one of the best college LB’s I’ve ever seen. But JFC, 18th overall?

This might be an unpopular opinion but I'm glad we didn't pick a WR, including Hyatt. I get the need but at 31 there was absolutely noone i didn't think was a reach, and I still feel how I felt months ago...it's not a good year for WRs so let's not overspend. I think Felix was probably BPA in one of our areas of need.

I don’t think it’s actually all the unpopular. The strength in this draft, at WR, is in the middle rounds. We could pick up a guy tonight that could be on the field day 1. There’s a lot of draft left and Veach is pretty good in the later rounds.

The fact that he puts mayo in his coffee and still pulls chicks like that.....just proves that athletes have it better than anyone else.
