Again, What does it matter? If we need him tomorrow, he'll be ready. One AB tonight wouldn't make a shitting bit of difference

I actually feel alright after this one.

Even if Bumgarner (holy shit I'm tired of him already) does Bumgarner things tomorrow, we're coming back to KC against (I'm assuming) Peavy & Hudson, both of whom we've already beat.

I can't say I feel amazing or anything, cause we just got blown the **** out. But we responded well the last time we lost and BGJ is due for a good outing. Hell, Bumgarner's due for a bad outing for that matter (fat chance, I know).

I'm not saying KC wins the whole thing. But the sky is not falling. Nor will it be if they drop tomorrow's game, either.

I would not have sent Vargas out to start the 5th. Doing that may have possibly cost us a run, but it did not cost us the game.

Everything else Ned did was defensible. Blaming him for the loss would be absurd. The players lost the game on the field.

It would be oh so sweet to win it with a 9th inning walkoff in game 7 in Kansas City

How many Giants have given Buck a facial by now?

I agree. Can't really blame him for trying squeeze out an out in the top of the 5th with Vargas. That double to start the inning hurt and it hurt bad after they got on a roll even with Duffy.

A Billy bomb for a walk off home run in game 7

It's my fault guys. Went to P&L and it was madhouse. The vibe was all wrong tonight. I should have stayed home. Unfortunately I will be out all evening tomorrow night.

Needed a lefty against Panik. Vargas was fine in that situation. Just didn't get the job done. Just like Frasor couldn't get Pence.

The only thing I am blaming Yost on was when Dyson got on base, and he sends up Nori.

SF has the momentum because of the 5th inning, yet Dyson snatched some of that momentum away after making a extra runs amazing catch. When Dyson got on base, I sensed the momentum was slowly moving back to KC's favor.

So it would had made more sense to have Nori bunt to move Dyson into RSIP.

Nope.

Grounded into a double play, momentum went DEFCON 1 in favor of SF.

Game.

Everything else, you're right, it is defensible.

Yup. Anyone blaming Yost is just silly.

Nightfyre 10-25-2014 10:21 PM

Well, hopefully Vargas and the bullpen got all their WS nerves out of the way tonight. Hopefully Shields got rid of his nerves in game one. But if he shits the bed again tomorrow, I will be pissed.

Really, Dyson should have been stealing. In that case, he would have made it to second and the throw to first would have been late... putting both players on base.

WHY THE **** DO WE NOT STEAL BASES ANYMORE?
