I liked him going into the draft, but he hasn't shown much and is hurt all the time. If we get him for a minimum incentive laden deal I'd be ok with it, a prove it deal like you said, but I think I'd rather see what we have in Marcus Kemp and the Kraut kid before chasing Moncrief.

Awww shit, I'm already getting a chub about the formal interview with Will Hernandez

Here is a brief summary of a scouting report on this manster...

6'2 340
Wide body mauler, better mover than body type suggests
Coordinated, with a suddenness and low drive off the snap that can move the LOS
Plays with a mean streak
Can adjust and land blocks on the second level
Strong hands and powerful upper body that can lock onto and drive defenders into the ground

:whackit: go get this guy, Brett1!

That would take our 2cd round pick at least. NO THANKS

Yeah Trumaine Johnson is the only real #1 corner that fits that mold. Breeland is a capable 2nd corner with the ability to play against bigger receivers.

Might have to look to the draft.

Judging by our combine meeting list, that’s what’s going to happen. Met with a lot of day two/day three CBs.

Hope the player comes in and can play day one, Amerson is insurance if they can’t.

No thanks on this strategy. Dorsey did this a few years ago and it didn't work at all.

I’m not against good corners, but I’d much rather stick the front 7

Many believe his combine numbers weren't the best and him running a 4.56 (i believe) didn't impress a lot of scouts. Yes, I know he most likely won't fall out of the first round but we won't know until draft night.

Also... I think it would've been worth taking him in for an interview to see if he'd be a guy to move up for if he finds himself still in the 2nd round.

If they went full tilt on a FA that would be it, but I think he'll be totally out of our range.

I don't see any realistic viable #1 corners in the draft, that fit what we want, without a 1st.

I think a year rental from DRC is what we probably need.

If only we had 6 first round picks to secure all of our needs with nobody needing to develop...

Not only does he need to fall out of the first round, but he needs to ****ing TANK if he's going to reach our late pick in the 2nd.

If you want him on the team, you better find a way to plant some weed on him. Otherwise it simply ain't happening.

I like that they are talking to all of the texas tech WRs. Keke Coutee and Dylan Cantrell

Its a lot to chew on no doubt, and I am with all of you who want to see defense as the #1 priority this year... but putting a 340 pound maneater into the middle of this line sounds like just the ticket to make Mahomes and Hunt so much more comfortable and effective

RealSNR 03-11-2018 04:26 PM

The Malcolm Butler market talk has been pretty quiet. Is he still going to make as much money as everybody thinks, or will he have a more difficult time getting the contract he thought he was going to get?

If Trumaine Johnson is now the actual #1 CB, where does that leave Butler?

I’m fine with it if we can’t get someone like Richardson.
