Imagine, your business has this employee that is fantastic at the work. He is simply amazing at doing his one area of expertise, maybe the best in the world.

Now imagine this guy fighting with the managers, treats customers like shit, and even gets suspended from the job for being a **** on the jobsite . Nobody wants to work with him even with his unreal skills.

Would you want to be around that all day every day?

I fired the best wrench that ever worked for me once because I couldn't stand to walk into the shop when he was there.

Everyone hated being around him.

With only 2-3 teams that had any interest in trading for an insane talent like Peters on his rookie deal combined with other things, most notably Kaepernick not being able to find a gig as even a mere backup, a couple years after he led his team to the SB and NFC Championship game the following year...I dunno, it just comes off as of these guys who protest the national anthem are losing some of their stock by doing that.

If we didnt get a first rounder its a really really bad trade.

Holy ****. Shut the **** up!

Exactly. Just because he is amazing doesn’t mean he won’t sabotage everyone else around him.

If the protests had anything to do with it it was WAY down the list

Fat **** let his own son die to drugs, so why the **** did he think he could handle a nutcase like Peters? He's absolutely horrendous at curbing this type of self destructive behavior. It took Kelce WAY longer than it should have to finally turn the corner, and now we've cost ourselves an All Pro CB on his rookie deal. Better not EVER draft a guy with even small red flags again, because now Reid has proven that no, this isn't the locker room to help troubled players.

And with that, you completely undermine any value your opinion might have had.

Pretty much how I’m feeling.

Yeah, you are probably right.

YOu do have to love this place.

We get a 3rd and Fuller for Smith and the Chiefs are baller ass geniuses.

We trade Peters who is in arguably a double edged sword kind of player and we dont care about winning and everyone is dumb.

LMAO

Why? Reid can't help or control people like Peters. Its just a fact at this point. Stop wasting resources on those with questionable characters if you're just going to jettison them even if they turn out to have All Pro talent.

Great point. Some people just arent a fit for what you are trying to build and its doesn't have to be a talent issue.

And i tried everything. Raises, time off you name it. Everything I did made it worse.

I felt so good when he was gone lol.

Now I know that when I dread going in its time to get rid of them.

Finally caught up, and I'm out of ****s to give.

Washington finally had enough of his shit, dumps him from the program.

KC drafts him hoping they can work with him - then trade him while still on a rookie deal.

30 NFL teams have no interest in a young, Pro Bowl, shutdown player at arguably the 2nd most important position in the game - including a team that has something like 37 picks this year and infinite cap space - whose personnel department just happens to be run by the guy that drafted said player.

I understand people flipping shit over this - but good Christ - think about how BAD it had to be behind the curtain for it to get to this point.

Dude was obviously a problem, and didn't want to be here.

He gets his wish, and we move on. Maybe the 3rd time is the charm for LA and they can control the kid.

This thread has been quiet entertaining....and highly disappointing at times. And all before any of us know the truth about why and what we get in return. A lot of speculation and "storming the castle" comments that allow people to vent their rage.

I am like you after reading all of this....ready to move on. Whatever it is that Peters has done to make him not wanted here in KC (or many other places for that matter) must be enough to move him. What we get in return will tell the tale of whether or not we got hosed or we came out even/ahead of the deal.

I was not against moving Peters before this and I am not angry that they have now. NO player should be "untouchable" save for a valued QB or RB.

And before Hamas comes in and calls me on it....yes I would have no problem moving Kelce for the right package. It's pretty evident that the Officials have a trigger finger when it comes to his antics and, while Reid may have finally convinced him to lose that attitude, it's still there waiting to get out on the first bad call. The right package would have to be something like Cleveland's #4 and #35 this year along with a 2nd or 3rd round next. (I'm not giving him away)

Oh, and to tell you how weird the world has flipped over right now.....

The Women's Pair won Gold in Cross Country earlier in the week and a group called "The Rejects" won Men's Curling Gold for the US.

Who would have thought?
