What evidence do they have that Rice was driving?

Rice will admit he was driving. His out of pocket if he wasn't is probably close to $700k, and they most likely have traffic cams showing him as the driver. NFL would suspend him the same either way.

I'm sure the NFL already knows that they're going to suspend him for 8 games before he's even charged with anything.

The month in jail part is the most unbelievable one. Like Rice has already accepted a plea deal or something. 🤣

When was that confirmed?

He admitted he was there and played a part in the accident. The worst injury was a few stitches in an eyelid. He was lucky and they probably have proof he was driving.

Rice himself confirmed he spoke with Dallas PD today. Considering he'd already retained legal counsel a couple days ago it wouldn't be the most shocking thing if they've already worked out what the punishment will be to streamline it as much as possible. Dragging this on does nobody any good, and if it's true he's on camera as the driver take the sweetheart deal your lawyer got you and move the **** on.

There are traffic cameras everywhere on any metro highway. Most of the time, they don’t bother to look unless it’s a highly visible crime. They already know who was driving.

He just needs to pay everyone. Maybe do some community service. Take your 3-4 game suspension the first of the year. We will still 3Peat.

Everyone on CP knows exactly how this is gonna end. Except, nobody does.

Hamwallet 04-03-2024 07:53 PM

He was photographed earlier in the day at some event and he was the last person out of the front seat passenger side wearing the same outfit. The drivers side door would not open after the wreck. Reddit and X already put all of the pieces together with pictures of all events I mentioned.

It ends with the Chiefs 3-peating.

Correct, that's what we need to do as well. If he doesn't learn from this and ****s up again he will most likely be cut and will miss out on a a huge contract. This will probably have an opposite effect. I could see him talking at schools to young drives about the dangers of reckless driving and how he almost ruined his life, etc. He will be extremely motivated to excel and be a good role model so he can cash in on his talent. He almost blew everything...

It is always amazing how people have this belief of how the legal system works and how it punishes people. Then reality is very different from their preconceived notions. Punishments are very light for the most part.

It’s interesting that you point out the most rosy of scenarios which happens to be kinda opposite of the behavior Rice has exhibited going back to college. Keyshawn Johnson knows Rashee. Do you? Keyshawn Johnson mentioned that Rashee had red flags going back to college that caused him to fall in the draft. I don’t know what those red flags were, but if true I’d argue that it seems his behavior is getting worse based on this street racing bullshit. Your hypothesis is based on absolutely nothing other than wishful thinking.

Make no mistake, this is a “line in the sand” moment for this young dude. But we’ve seen the Chiefs remove problems from the roster before and the reality is that none of us knows anything about Rashee Rice or what’s going on behind the scenes. To pretend otherwise is absurd.

Reread my post. This is the exact point I made. I'm not pretending to know otherwise other than how the Chiefs and Andy have handled these situations in the past. They get a chance to make it right and stay out of trouble. He got extremely lucky break with the poor decisions he made, it could have been the end of his career and even his life. Again, I said Andy, the Chiefs and leaders will keep him in line or he will be gone and piss a huge payday down his leg. How is that any different than what you are saying?

This thread sucks worse than the vote thread.

I would bet good money that Rice doesn't spend a month in jail.

They haven't even booked him but somehow 1 month in jail is a sweetheart deal. 😆

Hell I would be surprised if he spends any jail time at all. The legal system doesn't really apply to rich people 99% of the time.

Crashflee Rice is my favorite Chiefs player
