Here is my realistic Tourney Bracket.. obviously my hopeful one would have US making the Final… out of the remaining groups that need to finish up, I picked the teams I think will make it out of group play

Truthfully, I see us losing to Uruguay. They are pretty good and we've been giving up tons of good chances on goal early ingames. I think Uruguay has the quality to punish us for those kind of mistakes.

THAT's realistic? that's optimistic at best. we'll be lucky to make it past the round of 8, to be honest. hell, ghana may shock us and send us home.

Sub Netherlands w/ Brazil and maybe US with Uruguay...i think that's the most realistic.

I am not afraid of Uruguay.. Yea they're good, but we are better.. and as far as the early goal thing goes.. i agree the first 15 mins is key in any match for us.. it seems after the first 15 we usually gain some kind of composure.. But really i dont think we will give up any goals to Ghana..and maybe one to Uruguay.. but our attack > than uruguay's defense.. We should be favored to make the semis..
and the tourney layout plays very well in our favor.. if we are going to make a deep run any year.. this is the year to do so

Uruguay is NOT better than us... why do you all think this?? They played in a sub par group... that is why they made it to the final 16 at the top of their group.. sorry but France hasnt been France for a while now.. they were super overrated coming into the world cup..

Ima have to disagree. Our D can be exposed by these fast pace teams like Uruguay. I can easily see them beating us.

yeah the Brazil Netherlands match, i took a shot in the dark on.. There will be an upset in the Tourney.. i just dont know if it will be this match or not

I think you are underestimating Uruguay and over estimating the US. I can easily see Uruguay hanging more than 1 on us. They have a good team. Beating on France is a bad example IMO. I think the game against Mexico is a better representation of that team.

Oh, of course. I still think we can win, but i wouldn't feel bad if we lost. it would suck, but Uruguay seems pretty strong IMO.
