Runs on first down in these situations drive me crazy. A TD there probably seals it, but we act like we’re trying to drain the clock. Wasting first down and playing from “and long” on second/third down. We have the best QB on the planet. Let’s act like it.

I would rather waste 2nd down after gaining a healthy chunk of first down. At least you have lots of options on 3rd and short. This running on first down is handcuffing our offense.
