When the Pats win it was because he was wearing his unwashed Caldwell jersey. It's under my control when convenient

But in the situation last night, the Chargers could've ended the game, for all intents and purposes, with a TD. If they failed, well they're still up two scores with like 8 minutes left. Obviously, that ended up being irrelevant because Chargers, but I'm going for the win there every time. In most cases in today's NFL, your offense is your strongest unit. The Chargers certainly fall into that category as do the Chiefs. I don't think the case as is clear cut for Herbert being the Chargers best player as it is for Mahomes being ours, but that's the way they try to pump him up, so you go with that guy having the ball and the chance to win every time.....

But the Chargers probably Charger even if up 17 with 8 minutes left anyway.

The Chargers didn’t lose because they kicked FGs. If they make the missed one they probably pull it out. They lost the game because they had Herbert throw the ball 43 times in a game they led by 27 points. You could argue they have the second best RB in the league. They gave him the ball 13 times last night. He has only 2-3 receptions. When your up you need to shorten the game. It seemed like a foreign concept to the chargers

But I know... "reasons"...

LMAO forever pete%gz

I did notice nobody "called" the comeback due to referee shenanigans.

Yep.

there are lessons there. Reid has done the same thing more than once, and had the same result.

Pete cannot discuss any sporting event without claiming the refs are determining the outcome. It’s as constant as time.

The galaxy-brain “rigged” take would be to say that “all the money is on the (team making the comeback) to cover” (you can claim “all the money” is wherever you like) and that the refs “pushed” the game toward it, the Jags just took care of the rest. And if the refs didn’t do anything to change the outcome you just claim the other team was in on it and took their foot off the gas or similar.

It’s like reading your horoscope from yesterday today

The Chargers lost with a 4-0 turnover margin and a 27 point lead?

My God, that's EPIC.

5-0 turnover margin… first time in NFL history a team has ever lost a playoff game with that margin.

Hell, I bet it's happened less than a handful of times in history including the season.

Chargers punting on every drive but 1 in the second half is kind of like a pile of turnovers

I had nothing left in the tank, had a great run of wagering and decided it was time.

I did but a benj on Jax at +2.5 and figured that was gone, too. Woke up and was like WTF? LMAO
