Okay thanks. I was so jacked on the auS game yesterday that I couldn't sleep. I forgot to set my DVR too.

Michael Wilbon is apparently a Soccer expert now. Not often do I agree with Kornheiser, but Wilbon is an idiot. He is saying there is no chance that the US makes it to the final 4.

No he didn't, he said that just because they're ranked higher doesn't mean that the US will win the next two games.

Not sure if you are insinuating that the "soccer guys" in the thread have a problem with it... From what I have seen so far, no one has expressed any problems with it except for the "soccer is gay" crowd.

Myself, I am really enjoying the fact that a whole new demographic of American sports fans are taking part in this... it has added a new level of excitement, especially when I've gone to watch the games at the pub.

BTW, Uruguay has more talent than we do, but we might have a better *team*.

That being said, I'll be happy to escape from Ghana with a win. FIFA may try and **** us to put an African team into the last 4.

Forgive me for being corny, but I think our players have the pride and never say die attitude to overcome shit like FIFA cheating like they did with South Korea.

I certainly hope so. But our heart needs to combine with playing good defense, which we haven't been doing.
