Notice how the worst of his actions all seem to boil down to week 13 and his meltdown against the Jets? If we nip that shit in the bud after his screaming match with Sutton, and sit him down for a week, maybe he doesn't continue to walk down this path of self destruction that ultimately got him off the team.

How do you know he cleaned up his act? My guess is this wasn't a decision made lightly. It wasn't because he sat out the anthem or threw a flag. I trust the coaches and front office because they're around him a lot more than anyone here sees him. They know him a lot better than you or I. I don't think they make a decision to make the team worse on the field (which it does) without really good reason.
Maybe he refused to play another snap for this team. i don't know. But I don't think it's because Reid just can't handle a malcontent. He's been around a long time, and coached plenty of malcontents, some that most thought were uncoachable, so that's something I don't buy.
