Chiefs had injuries that year, but they were fortunate to get all of the key pieces healthy at the right time.

Guys they lost for the year (like Ogbah and Thornhill) were replaced with surprising cuts (Suggs) and moving pieces around (Fuller to safety).

The Chiefs didn’t lose their top pass rusher and prize free agent signing.
