Alex Smith didn't need to do anything. Everything he did today was what was needed. Two passing tds, didn't turn it over.....Defense ruled the day.

It's good that they dominated another 2-14 team that made minimal to no improvement in the offseason.

It does however show a nice contrast between the two once lowly franchises.

We're comparing him with Brady now?

Brady didn't play his best game. In fact, that's a garbage performance too, especially against the Bills.

Brady, however, has a tremendous track record. Alex, most certainly does not.

Again. What did alex need to do today? Nothing. He threw the tds when he had to, and then the team cruised.

I have no problem criticizing Alex Smith when he fails, but when you are going to try to NIT pick things when the team absolutely destroys a team, that's just stupid and petty. And im not Parroting anything. Im stating the truth.

"Garbage" describes your knowledge of football.

I don't know why this has to be explained, but when you have a huge lead you don't really want to throw long passes. You see, long passes are low percentage plays, only about 25% completion rate. That means a 75% chance of stopping the clock. Why would you want to do that?

With Charles out the running game wasn't doing so well, so short high percentage passes were the smart thing to do.

Also, when Brady had the weapons, he wasn't deathly afraid of throwing the deep ball. I despise Brady, but comparing Alice to him is laughable.
