**** em. Pats fans have had the ref calls for almost 2 decades. They don't know how to act anymore.
Remember the face of the nfl gets those calls and you don't have brady anymore.

My main gripe last night was some of the playcalling. Ceh should not be taking draws up the middle. We telegraphed those. Put him outside with a toss and let him be one on one.

So much this. Was a weird game in general all the way around.

I do enjoy the fact that our QB had an "off" game, but stat line is 66% comp, 239yds, 2TDs, 0INTs. :D

So you agree it was a BS penalty? lol

Patrick did a soccer flop but guess what? Tompa Bay boy got calls like that for 20 years. Playback is hell.

I find it amazing that everyone is complaining about the 'in the grasp' call when Brady and Farve got those calls ALL THE TIME.

PM is the face of the league. The Highest paid player. The MAN.
Protect him.

I also could not believe the official made the statement after the game. I did not think that was allowed.

F belichick.

Chiefs have 3 games in 10 days... would imagine once they found out Hoyer was starting, they conserved the playbook.

They might need those plays on a short week in Buffalo....

Patriots had been planning all week to go against the SB champs...so their energy was there. KC seemed like they were going through the motions...

I guess that could be one detrimental thing about having a QB like Mahomes...the players might not always give 100% against lesser teams....thinking Mahomes will win it.

Predictably, Patriots fans all think they’d have waltzed to a win with Newton. One fan said that they’d have won with Matt Cassel.

Admittedly, it’s possible. But it’s highly likely that Andy calls a very different game in that circumstance, and that the team elevates their play.

I don’t see anyone beating the Chiefs when they’re motivated and focused.

I think almost all of the criticisms in this thread this morning are unwarranted. I definitely didn't see the game the way some of you did.

I thought the Patriots played valiantly and our guys simply struggled to get open consistently against man coverage. They took Kelce away and beat the absolute shit out of him, put Gilmore on Watkins (that's a helluva matchup) and at times, doubled Tyreek. The run game was getting stuffed against 4 man fronts.

Despite that, Mahomes managed the game well. I mean, damn he finished with a QBR of 114 and completed nearly 66% of his passes despite the Patriots clogging up the run game most of the night and dropping 8 into coverage on most passing downs.

The Patriots played a defensively sound game, as expected, and the Chiefs took their best shot and still beat them by 16.

I didn't see a vanilla game plan, I didn't see the Chiefs as "lethargic" or playing down to their competition, I didn't see Mahomes as having an off-night and I didn't see Andy holding back the play calling (That take is ridiculous, the game was in doubt for the first 3 quarters).

I saw a Patriots team that BB had well prepared, and had worked on a game plan all offseason for.

Some of ya'll are moping over a 16 point win against a BB coached football team that brought the best they could.

Now fight me. I'll take you all on.

Now fight me, i'll take you all on.

Ok that's fair. I just want it acknowledged is all lol. I think the Pats lose that game 95% of the time anyway so I'm not too bent outta shape about it. Next time Wise will known to just let Mahomes fall on his own ass instead of trying to keep him up outside the sidelines

And if Chris Jones played, their pass protection wouldn't have held up as well and Cam would be getting blasted. Their running game wouldn't have been prioritized like it was also. I doubt their offensive production changes enough to sway the outcome of the game.

And guess what you salty patriot bitches, beating Covid is part of winning in the NFL. You went with an immature QB who allowed himself to catch it, now you deal with the consequences mother****ers.

Any time a QB takes a violent fall while a defender has his hands on him OUT OF BOUNDS, the QB is going to get the call.

Mahomes didn't flop shit. His momentum carried him out and your boy turned his momentum into a slip and fall.

Don't touch our QB when he's going out of bounds, like that bullshit-non call earlier in the game when one of your boys shoved him on his way out.

THAT should be the lesson you learned. Stop being cheap shotters.

Motivation and disrespect are real things. KC felt slighted last week and took it out on Baltimore. I bet NE felt the same way being eight point underdogs even with Cam, that is a lot in the NFL. They had this game circled since January.
But their fan argument that simply replacing their backup QBs would have won them the game is asinine. Do they really think the game would have unfolded in exactly the same manner play for play?

Below is some bulletin board material for the team. But given the ugly nature of 2/4 wins this year, it’s a very fair analysis.
