Some conclusions we can go ahead and make from today so far:

Okie St. out of playoff contention. Cincy in. Bama and Georgia will both be in.

That leaves one spot up for grabs. Michigan, it’s all yours if you can just take it.


If Michigan loses, likely Notre Lame will get in and get obliterated by either Bama or Georgia. Would be fun to see a Cincy/ND rematch if ND got in, but don’t think the seeding will allow that to happen.

Go for it if 4th down.

Alabama has a Heisman QB and Georgia has Steve Bono.

I was really pulling for Georgia and Oklahoma St. today. And obviously Cincinnati. Would have been nice to see all new blood in the Playoffs.

The Dolphins would have been interesting if the GM didn’t screw Saban. Obviously Ricky Williams going full Ricky didn’t help, but Saban wanted Brees and the GM wanted Culpepper. Saban wanted Braylon Edwards in the draft, GM gave him Ronnie Brown(obviously because of Ricky).

Brees going to the Dolphins instead of Saints would have been wild.
