Now it feels like there is a list of contenders for Chiefs' AFC crown

No. I'm not even going to read it.

Have fun losing the division, will they even make the playoffs?

Your team should be 2-2.

I think almost all of the criticisms in this thread this morning are unwarranted. I definitely didn't see the game the way some of you did.

I thought the Patriots played valiantly and our guys simply struggled to get open consistently against man coverage. They took Kelce away and beat the absolute shit out of him, put Gilmore on Watkins (that's a helluva matchup) and at times, doubled Tyreek. The run game was getting stuffed against 4 man fronts.

Despite that, Mahomes managed the game well. I mean, damn he finished with a QBR of 114 and completed nearly 66% of his passes despite the Patriots clogging up the run game most of the night and dropping 8 into coverage on most passing downs.

The Patriots played a defensively sound game, as expected, and the Chiefs took their best shot and still beat them by 16.

I didn't see a vanilla game plan, I didn't see the Chiefs as "lethargic" or playing down to their competition, I didn't see Mahomes as having an off-night and I didn't see Andy holding back the play calling (That take is ridiculous, the game was in doubt for the first 3 quarters).

I saw a Patriots team that BB had well prepared, and had worked on a game plan all offseason for.

Some of ya'll are moping over a 16 point win against a BB coached football team that brought the best they could.

Now fight me. I'll take you all on.

Now fight me, i'll take you all on.

No reason to fight you when you got it all right.

Last night really highlighted our amazing depth at DE. I don’t think any team is as good at the position overall as we are. 4 of our DE’s are on the board for a sack or half/combined sack through 4 weeks. And that’s with Okafor, Clark and Danna each missing time.

We are legitimately 5 deep there which is incredible. Okafor is out, Danna and Taco play well; Danna is out, Okafor and Taco play well.

WR is the best and deepest group on the team, but I think you could make a good case that DE is as good of a group.

LMAO Is this really how we looked in years prior, complaining about what woulda, coulda and shoulda happened?? Pathetic.

Literally no one thought that the Chiefs were in danger of losing that game last night. No one. We've got two convincing wins in weeks 1 and 3, a win in which we played like shit in week 4, and a grind-it-out, completely uncontroversial win in week 2.

We are 4-0. Meanwhile you've got two wins and two "moral victories" lol Deal with it, bitch.

Does this mean your team should have less titles and a lot less wins then?

Kraft should get off his massage table and petition the NFL to change 4-0 to 2-2.

A week after teh Chiefs just beat the ever loving piss out of the "contender" for the Chiefs crown, we get this.

Nah. Sorry. It's the Chiefs, then the rest of the AFC until someone beats them.

The narrative today seems to be that Russell Wilson is a far superior QB than Mahomes because of how each played vs the Patriots.

Mahomes didn't flop shit. His momentum carried him out and your boy turned his momentum into a slip and fall.

Don't touch our QB when he's going out of bounds, like that bullshit-non call earlier in the game when one of your boys shoved him on his way out.

THAT should be the lesson you learned. Stop being cheap shotters.

Plus people seem to be missing that the call wasn't on 91, the DE that took Pat out of bounds. It was on 51, the LB that came over and first made contact with him while well out of bounds. It wasn't a vicious hit or anything but there was zero reason for 51 to make any contact at all.

If Mahomes gets a shot at Wilson in the SB then we know that Mahomes will elevate his game to another level, just look at the Bears and Ravens games.
Belichick plays Wilson only once in four years. He is much more familiar with KC. It is also a much more rewarding rivalry for Belichick going up against Reid.
