What is there to save face for? The media decided to make him the center of attention last night and clearly he was mislead by teams into thinking he'd go in the 1st.

Glad to hear it. Would still have liked to see him hang around for Day 2. Could have walked out on that stage and been cheered by the fans and shined through some adversity. Instead he's gonna take his ball and go home.

He voluntarily showed up to be in the green room… i.e. a designated location for the specific purpose of exposure and then he ended up being one of only three players remaining there for the duration of the evening… so obviously the media was going was going to focus on him.

If he can’t handle that scrutiny then stay home.
