For the record, never pick Sergio (bad putter), Toms (overrated), or Furyk (grinders don't do well there historically). Never pick a guy who uses a belly putter. Never pick a guy who isn't at least in the top 1/4 of driving distance (this won't work 1/5 years). Don't pick a righty who hits a cut unless he is looooong off the tee. Don't pick a guy over 40 (Jack Nicklaus was 20+ years ago). If you draw a bad number next year, look at Andres Romero, Angel Cabrera, or Paul Casey, but if you want a real dark horse... |
