I think it should be tied into rep somehow as well personally...make it mean something.

That way the people that are asswipes all the time are vulnerable to people with supporter more, but people that are here long enough with a decent enough rep are more shielded from someone just getting a hankering to take a bad day out on someone.

Descretion is something we are all so very good at here.......

Ooh, I like that idea, an infraction should take away 5,000 rep points.

They don't grow them in Montana like they used to, do they? In Idaho, people minded their own business. I always imagined that's the way things were in Montana, but watching this spectacle pretty well dispels that notion. Apparently we've got the profit police operating out there.

It's OK though because the profit police paid their $10 to the state of Montana for their official cardboard badges.

Shit, you can redcan me like Claythan. I only check my rep for the comments people leave. Some of the best ones are neg. Matter of fact, the casino cash whoring thread is the only reason mine is so high. I honestly couldn't give two shits about it.

No one on here really gives 2 shits about rep.

Just sayin'

Pos rep is a thoughtful gesture, but really if anyone neg rep bombs me etc, I really dont lose much sleep over it.

I don't want this little tiff to spill over either. I've never gotten into an argument w/ you before on any other topic, I hope to keep it that way.

I agree. No need for this to go overboard. I have never had a problem with you. I just decided since the topic had a thread dedicated to it, I would weigh in with my opinion. FWIW, and I will probably get banned for this, but what the hey. Chiefdawn is my wife. I used to her account last week to start the bogus thread because I wanted to make a point about everyone overreacting to the fake Herm and Pioli threads without getting banned myself. (which went exactly the way I expected it to) People get so worked up over something so trivial. It is fine to start threads about poop or blowing your wad in someones face, but god forbid someone start a thread that is misleading. As I have said before, Use the ignore thread feature if you don't want to see it. I do. Instead, people keep the thread on the front page by posting in it. So, if 5 of you want to red card card and ban me, fine. I can still lurk. I can live without posting for a few days.
