I knew that Baylor could give us problems if they got hot, but in no way did I think KU would sit there and piss their pants in the first half like they did.

**** they looked like ****in MU.

Nah, not really...

This team is still very young and this is expected... They will only get better and next years team is going to be the start of something special...

They're young, but at this point they're not freshman anymore.

They were projected to be a #2 going into this thing, so I don't foresee them dropping an entire 2 spots, but who knows. It really doesn't matter that much anyway.

Which Self can use this as a one and done opportunity to teach the kids what the big dance will be like...

You dont want to lose? Then hustle and play ball...

I honestly expect TT to Career Day/Super Bowl MU today as well...

Oh, I do too. I'm pretty nervous (as I stated in the tourney thread). I just highly doubt anyone really expected KU to lose today.

It might be my exhaustion (pulled an all-nighter yesterday) and the fact that I have an exam in 30 minutes, but I don't seem to care too much.

Some KU fans might not want to admit it, but an upset like this was always in the cards.

True, but they are not all a year older either....

You have to look at the over all body of work, no just this game...

Its about the tourney and next year at this point...

CoMoChief 03-12-2009 12:45 PM

Yeah...they are going to have to start these games with a little bit more intensity. That's the only embarrassing thing about it. They aren't hustling like they were a few weeks ago.

True, Very true....

They start off half ass 90% of the time...

True, but Collins played like poop. How often does that happen? I hope that is not due to his knee or whatever getting hurt in this game. I guess we can look at the bright side and say that at least he has more time to heal before the NCAA tournament.

Yeah 6 for 20, horrible. He just kept putting them up though.

I think he still feels that pressure sometimes to do it all. At least against OU, Tyshawn Taylor stepped it up in the first half until Collins got it together. And where was Aldrich in this game? I only watched the 2nd half but it looked like he was pretty quiet.

One would think that the Sporting News/AP Big 12 Coach of the Year could have avoided something like this.

You would have thought. Until the last two minutes I didn't think there was anyway KU was going to lose.
