Mayock:

If you have a franchise QB, you have a chance to win the SB.

Without one, you have no chance.

The Bears have one, the Broncos do not.

No one is claiming Josh McDaniels is a bright guy here.

Last year they were.

They were also the year before.

I'll wait to call McDaniels stupid until I see what they do with the 12 and 18 and how this Bronco team shapes up.

If he takes this Bronco team to the playoffs, and gets himself a young QB in the process, no one will give a flying **** about losing Jay Cutler.

Let's hope he is damn good. Next years draft is loaded at the top. Two high picks for Denver next year may not be good. Go Bears!

Donger's son will have to get a new jersey now.

He might be able to sell it to the strange creatures across the street than inhabit their own garage.

They likely have never felt a fantastic nylon jersey and will most likely fashion a hippie sun-dancing ritual dress or something of the like out of it.

In that division, the Bears are almost guaranteed the top spot without playing a single game.

If they get Stafford or Sanchez then they will look really smart. They both have a higher ceiling than Cutler.

Demonpenz 04-02-2009 04:12 PM

chi bears think they owe that D a superbowl trophy. Going for it all. Cutler is a pro bowlers, smart dude, vandy tough, we will see who makes out with the better deal.

I wouldn't go that far. Minnesota is good just doesn't have a QB. Green Bay has lots of young guys, we will see how they adjust to the 3-4.

Anyone got updates at the Mange? There must be a ton of people on right now, I can't get anything to load on their site.

I think you get called names because you come off like a self-righteous one who sucks the penis. If Onthewarpath said it, I doubt he would have been called anything.

Goodnight!

Two #1's, a #3, and Orton...
For Cutler and a #5?
The Donks made out like bandits.

If Stafford doesn't go #1... The phone will ring.

Higher ceiling? I don't know about that. Cutler's ceiling is pretty damn high.

Hootie 04-02-2009 04:14 PM

For everyone who is saying Cutler got way more than Cassel...remember one thing...

The Cutler trade didn't happen at the beginning of free agency, New England was desperate to get his $15M off of their cap AND most teams couldn't reasonably fit that $15M contract on their payroll like the Chiefs AND Jay Cutler, right now, has an extremely reasonable contract.

Plus, there was a huge publicized bidding war and Cutler is a perfect fit for the Bears...so it makes sense for them to overpay.
