The #55 isn't high enough, if it was #35 Tony would be gone.

Nowhere to go but up for this guy barring injury or whatever. |
I have always loved the fact that KC was the only team in the NFL whose best WR is a TE. I don't like that the new regime recognizes this as something that needs to change.
I think I'm going to miss Carl & Herm. |

From an outsider's POV although Tony may be KC's favorite player he is not their best player. He is an aging TE. If KC could turn Tony into a quality young player through the draft that would be the best thing he could do for them at this point. There should be no sacred cows for a new GM coming into a losing program. IMHO. |

And I am not in favor of keeping TG or letting him go. Either way I am fine with it. |

IMO on a team that is rebuilding any young quality starter who can contribute to the reshaping of the team over the next 3-5 years is the most valuable kind of player. So a guy like Alberts is a better player for KC today. Dorsey if he pans out. Quality starters you get in the upcoming draft. |
His name is Albert. But you have a good point. Along your lines of thinking he is probably the MVP at this point.
