Yeah, I rarely express my own opinions on this board and feel the need to piggyback someone else's train of thought.

Who hasn't he pimped from USC? I realize guys like John David Booty, or scrubs like that, but that hardly counts.

I remember him saying Dwayne Jarret would be the second best receiver behind Calvin Johnson in the draft class that had Bowe, Meachem, etc. in it. Said that speed didn't matter and that all he does is make plays. Kind of funny because if a guy from the Big 12 doesn't have blazing speed, Mecca pisses all over him in every draft thread. (See: Dez Bryant, Michael Crabtree)

I think there's been a hyper-focus because of all the Sanchez talk.

Jarret is a great counter-point, but, for the most part, USC has had some top prospects the last couple of years.

Well, on the Bush thing, Mecca made some comments just a couple weeks ago when Bush actually scored a TD. Something like, "um, reggie bush is a bum according to people on CP ponder that" or something similar. I would guess that someone who wasn't here when the Bush draft talks could read into comments like that from Mecca.

A few plays later, Bush came up lame on a run and was out the rest of the game.

I like Todd Haley.

However, his game day decisions are so pathetic it's laughable.

I don't know that this is refuting your point that mecca pimps every player coming out of USC, but he had I got into some serious debate about Mauluga's value in last year's draft.

I liked RM far more than mecca did.
