If the argument against Miami is that it'll be a circus atmosphere than what the hell is different in Denver?

The entire Manning/Tebow saga would be a circus in itself...would Manning really want to go through that? I don't think so.

Point, Jerm.

I foresee Tebow fans throwing a crapfest if the annointed one is dethroned.

Not exactly. KC started the offseason with $39 mil or so salary cap room (will vary depending on what the exact cap number is set to in the coming weeks). Washington has $36 mil and Denver has about $27 mil.

With the Chiefs franchising Bowe (about $10 mil) and signing Routt, that number comes down a bit for us.

That said, this will not be about cap room, because any team can make it work if they want to. It will come down to where Manning wants to end up at. If Elway makes the best pitch and he wants to go there, then so be it. But I would prefer to be one of his last visits than his first if he's truly planning on going out and doing due diligence...

I don't know what the real numbers are, but I've seen several different - in either, Denver has a lot of money they can spend. Might now be as much as KC, but it's not too far off.
