Maybe not Palko though................

Yeah I understand the frustration that says anyone except Cassel.
But Schaub has always been injured and people have questioned his toughness although it was years ago.

Even with the injury proneness, I'll take him over Cassel without even batting an eye.

Peyton tells Redskins thanks but no thanks according to PFT.

“A couple of different sources inside the organization have told me that Manning’s camp made it pretty clear to Redskins officials he doesn’t want to come here,” said Russell. “… There’s lots of reasons for that. His brother Eli, the colder weather, the whole situation down in Miami and so on and so forth.

Plus the fact that the Redskins players almost took his head off and ruined his career on what appears to have been a contract hit.

All of the above. With huge respect, from both sides. Yes, he will want to stick to the Colts every opportunity here on out. And many fans will support Peyton until he plays the Colts. Other fans will support Peyton and double when he plays the Colts. Either Luck will reel them back in, or I expect them to be a fan of a new team for 2-4 years.

I agree with Golic, and have before he went public. KC makes most sense. Only outdoor stadium a a negative. Miami and AZ are next on my list, Seahawks #4. No way for Redskins.

Houston has NO cap space. I can't understand why anyone is still mentioning them.

How could i forget? Of course, they'd have to cut about half their team to afford him but who cares?

Pretty cool that Denver is scared of our REAL chance to sign Peyton....to the point where they are now in the talks.

That's a definite sign that other teams view us a legit favorite in this whole thing.

My source that there has been no discussions or talks between the Chiefs and the agent. Only a desire of the Chiefs to talk.

Totally get your point. But think about it. Manning needs to not only feel comfortable but hit the ground running immediately with his own guys so that he can drastically shorten the time to get everyone else on the same page much quicker in order to win more games in the long run for these next 2-3yrs.

What better way to school Rodney Hudson than with Jeff Saturday. Reggie Wayne could school Bowe and Breaston on how to see the Defense like Peyton sees it in order to run the correct routes according to what the D gives you.

Bowe thought Haley was intense???? If Manning comes here, he will make Haley look like a daycare provider. Which will be good because Manning is proven unlike Haley and the team will respect Manning's intensity and demands.

This was something I thought about earlier today. How will Bowe respond to a QB that will rip his ass for dropping easy catches?

Hudson learned from Wiegman. He's ready to go.

That sucks. If Manning won't talk to us there isn't much we can do about it.

Who knows if that is true. Just what some local sports guy heard. Maybe he was being fed a BS rumor? Maybe its real? you can never know with the Pioli regime.

This is the one of the first things I believe I have read today on CP.

I would think it would be very much in our favor, that we can pay him 20 million per year and still have money to add players. We also have a guy at GM who, IMO, is pretty good at adding talent thru the draft.
