Wow, Mason made up for it with the block. Crazy game.

Good lord got lucky there

ArrowheadHawk 01-18-2014 05:33 PM

Crazy game. Good teaching moment about never letting up.

Pablo 01-18-2014 05:33 PM

That was a lot closer than I needed.

****ing heart attack.

O.city 01-18-2014 05:35 PM

Wiggins is gonna have to play better than that.

But that's a big win. 2 game lead in the conference

POND_OF_RED 01-18-2014 05:35 PM

First time I think I've ever seen a charge and blocking foul called on the same play. That was pretty funny. Only in AFH...

Al Czervik 01-18-2014 05:36 PM

Really disappointed in Wiggins and Ellis....Non factors in the game. And it wasn't due to foul trouble......

Still...win is a win...especially against the OKIE Floppers

Nice win for KU. I would like to see them play two good halves Monday night though.

WHAT A FREAKING GAME!! Unlike last year, we matched OSU's intensity every step of the way. Rock chalk.

KC_Connection 01-18-2014 05:40 PM

Should have been a hell of a lot easier than that considering they have a 8 point lead with 1:30 left (and 17 at half), but at least they got it done. Tharpe clearly needs to be the guy with the ball in his hands at the end of the game going forward, though. Been making clutch plays and FTs all year.

As impactful as Embiid was in this game, Wiggins was that poor. He played some good defense in the first half, but I think the big lead took him mentally out of the game and he never got back into it. We'll see how he rebounds on Monday from this.

It should have been a block (and would normally have been considering it is AFH). Guy was moving/leaning into Traylor. The double foul was a copout.

I will eat six helpings of crow in re: Tharpe.

Dude has been unreal.

Does anyone know what Embiid was T'ed up for?

We will disagree again, lol. I thought Traylor was out of control and bowled over him.
