yeah dude. She's always been a flamethrower. She might have had work done but whatever. She's hot as hell, an operate firearms, and has jokes. What's not to like.

Worth a watch? I read one Reacher book and it was okay.

It's not terribly dissimilar from the books - pretty mindless entertainment.

I started reading the books in whatever order they were available from the e-library in Columbia. If it was available to check out, I went ahead and checked it out.

And nothing of value was lost. There's no throughput of any import. There's nothing serial about them. They're mostly self-contained stories with very few characters that surface multiple times or themes that are critically important from one book to the next.

Reacher is big. He beats people up. He solves mysteries. He gets the bad guy.

One book is the same as the next. And the show isn't much different in that regard. Character development isn't exactly a thing.

If that's not gonna be up your alley, don't bother.

I've bogged down in season 3. I've tried to watch the 3rd episode three times and turned it off out of boredom each time.

The supporting actors just don't seem to have the chops to carry things along like they did in prior seasons. Alan Ritchson is good at hulk smash, but nothing else really.

Enjoying this season a lot more than the last. mindless, yes, but good entertainment anyway.

Yep. No real complaints at all. A good watch and I enjoy that each season is a self contained story.

I was enjoying this season up until the finale. Too much contrived/forced situation bullshit.

I think I've had my fill of the Reacher franchise.

1st Season >>>>>>3rd Season>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>2nd Season

3rd Season still was far from great but it was ok but still a little boring overall.

Spoiler!

That was my biggest annoyance. That and the fact that Duffy sucked and Theresa survived.

I actually think the season was pretty good - IF you'd have subbed out Duffy for someone like Roscoe. That would've put it on par with S1. Duffy was just such a shitty, stupid, predictable one-note character who's motivations never made a damn bit of sense. She brought the entire season down on her own.

The story and Reacher's omniscient god status was the problem in S2. The story was good in S3 and he wasn't anywhere near as OP as he was in S2. They got a lot of things right. But man Duffy sucked.

Agreed -- they'll never have to write a series finale for these because ultimately every season can end the same. And fi the audience turnout isn't there, you just don't come back.

My worry is that they'll try to add some juice to a season at some point (maybe if S4 loses some steam) by trying to have him turn heel or something and go REALLY dark, then you'll need to have a carryover into the following season for a redemption arc. The first season ends with some unforgiveable act he does that gest him in too deep then the next season is him running ahead of the Feds or something and it becomes Jack Ryan on Steroids or something.
