I’m a big rogan fan. I’m glad he got better.

I don’t like that he downplayed it, then when it got close to him he threw the kitchen sink at it. I’ve had a front row seat to the whole situation on a personal level and it definitely changes perspectives

I think a lot of it has to do with the newness of the vaccines and the potential problems (real or imagined, whatever) that the vaccines pose, whereas these other drugs have been around for awhile, and while the effectiveness of them might be in question, their safety is not.

See the difference?

The vaccines are safe. That's not really in question.

Some questions are really hard, or don't have a clear answer.

Is CEH just a JAG?

Great footballs minds can argue that one for 1000's of post and you can look at the stats but there are counter arguments to be made even in the face of the stats.

However, a couple years into a pandemic. And 9+ months since tens of millions of Americans have gotten vaccinated, and tens of millions of Americans have gotten covid, and somewhere around 800,000 have died:

There should be really good data regarding what does and doesn't work.

It should be relative straight forward to answer this question.

Yet there are say 30 million people who clearly believe something completely opposite to say a different 30 million people.

I think that is pretty clear regardless of which category readers of this thread are in.

But all I can say is:

**** the Squealers.

True, and we don't know what possible long term effects could happen with the virus, same as with the vaccines. I'll just say it's been around for about 2 years now, and basically if you are healthy and under 60, you are probably going to be fine. Some are comfortable with that, and would rather just take therapeutics to fight it if they get it.

But I don't want to derail this thread any more than it is.

Same is true for monoclonal antibodies and ivermectin drug cocktails never mixed before.

"But my doctor prescribed it!"

YOUR DOCTOR PRESCRIBED THE VACCINE PICK A ****ING LANE, ASSHAT.

In terms of football...

Kelce is vaxed. That's what matters. I'd bet dollars to donuts that the only one who misses the game is Butker.

Feliciano who is vaxxed FWIW

philfree 12-21-2021 09:59 PM

So none of the players are tweeting about their status or posting about it on other social media? I don't really do social media unless someone posts it on CP but inquiring minds want to know.

God damn stop with the stupid ****ing politics. All you anti vax or whatever the **** you're calling yourselves do is stir the pot thread after thread after thread. It's exhausting. We get it you don't like COVID and think dewormer is a better way to handle it than the vaccine.

Blah blah blah Joe ****ing Rogan.

You think the NFL protocols are stupid.

Newsflash, everyone thinks it is, including a large large majority of the players want to do away with it all, but those dumb bitches that run the NFLPA don't want to stop it.

If they're vaccinated, don't test unless they are presenting symptoms. If they have symptoms and are positive, then wait until they no longer have symptoms. If they are unvaccinated, test then if they have symptoms. Unvaccinated people are around 99% of the deaths and if by now you're not vaccinated, then it's your own fault and you made a choice.

140 players on COVID list

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/n...on-covid-list/

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic continues to plague the NFL. Since the start of last week, 213 players have tested positive for COVID-19, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. That's almost 10% of the league.

The 2021 NFL season is DOOOOOOOOOOOMED!!!!!!

KChiefs1 12-22-2021 12:52 AM

Current Chiefs Kicker, Harrison Butker, has Covid and is unvaccinated so he won’t be available vs. Pittsburgh.

That leaves the Chiefs with Elliott Fry who they signed off the Falcons practice squad on December 14th, just two days after he turned 27. Elliott is 1 for 1 on a 23 yard field goal and 1 for 2 on extra points in regular season play which came last season for Atlanta. He also deals with being a Type 1 diabetic which he was diagnosed with at the age of 7.

Can he handle the pressure of a late season vital game for the Chiefs to retain their 1 seed in the playoffs?

I think that's pretty well what's being reported. Which is really ****ing stupid. You can test positive for a pretty long time, so if one of these guys goes on testing positive for a month, then he's out?
