All the mocks I seen have Jernaine going around 15. Maybe move up even farther with the way WR salaries are escalating.

Seems like we’d have to give up a lot to move up to 15.

Hardman's issue is ball tracking and getting himself into position to make the catch. Not his route running.

Lmao. Bwillie is a dipshit too. Not on M4Ls level though.

The team and the strategy that won the SB is miles in the rear view mirror. To reiterate, the team needed a new identity, It was feeling a little stale after the second half meltdown, etc, TBH. Defenses were taking advantage. they don't have that luxury now.

We watched Veach revamp that makeshift oline in one season. Unheard of.

Can he cash in on the picks from Hill? That's the true payout on the trade.

To me, the biggest thing is ever since he became the GM, we don't sit on our hands in the offseason.

...it's the polar opposite of the CP era.

I'll gladly go down swinging with them being proactive, rather than trot the same ol same ol out there like in years past.

Keep him away from Jackson Mahomes

This is going to be an offense that can't be crippled by taking one guy away, not even Kelce. I'd imagine that's more problematic for a D-coordinator to deal with. Meanwhile, Mahomes will be loving it.

I honestly think/hope this may help Mahomes as well.

Dude tunnel-visioned on Hill missing wide open guys elsewhere A LOT.

Same thing with Rodgers & Adams. Killed Green Bay in the playoffs the last two years. KC had a game late in regular season against Steelers where Tyreek didn't play much and Kelce was 100% out. Mahomes was spreading the ball around to a lot of different guys and it was very effective. Hopefully we will see more of that now.

Hill just like every other player had strengths and weaknesses. Looking at players in terms of better/worse is not the right approach.

Very few players are simply better than others (mahomes/Aaron donald)

Hill had unique attributes that was probably the motor behind the offense when it was in its prime, though.

I like the Patriots/Brady model. Great defense and OL. HOF QB. JAG’s at WR and RB. That’s a sustainable cap friendly team.

What? So with his elite speed, how come he doesn't get open if he's a good route runner? Why when Reid tried to use him a a legitimate WR, that experiment failed until we just stuck him in the gadget role full time?

Going to be interesting to see if he does a lot better with Mahomes.

^this^ Zay Jones got nearly the same contract we just gave MVS... Zay ****ing Jones. This is a good signing.

Still need to trade up and draft a legit WR1.

This better not change that.

Don't know why but I'm feeling Chris Olave might be in the works.

I just don't see him as a 1st round player. I think he should go somewhere in the early 2nd and we'll have bigger needs to deal with.

Make him bigger OR faster and I'm fine with him in the first. But he doesn't really jump off the page to me. Above average speed, below average size -- probably a pretty average player. Maybe a tick above average.

His ceiling is a #2 wideout, IMO.

Just don't see that as being worth a first round pick.

Maybe I'm crazy, but her reminds me a lot of Jeremy Maclin, and if Reid/Veach see the same, perhaps that could tilt him our way.
